🛠️Editing Existing Art
After a museum admin has submitted their artwork for approval, they may want to go back and make edits. These are the steps for that process.
Submitting a change request
The Museum Admin clicks the blue "Request Change" button in the top right corner of the artwork details page.

When the "Request Changes" button is clicked, a pop-up window will appear prompting the museum admin to enter in their name and email, along with a description of the changes they would like to make.

The Comission Admin will receive an email notification of the change request. At this point they will need to decide if this change can be made without affecting any existing orders on the live site. Generally, if the artwork has not been activated on the live site, any updates can be made, but if the artwork is on the live site, the following considerations would need to be made.
Has the artwork been viewed by users yet? if so, consider any confusion that could come about if the data for the artwork changes.
Has the artwork been purchased, or added to a user's cart? If so, then you should not make any updates to the fractionalization or to the pricing tiers. This would cause conflicts between pricing, purchased DABs and remaining dabs for sale.
Making the updates.
At this point, the Comission administrator will need to facilitate the conversation directly with the museum to make sure all change requests are clear. The Comission administrator can then make the updates using one of the two methods below
Making edits directly in Shopify
In the case of copy changes, the Comission Administrator can usually make the updates directly in Shopify by editing the proper product attributes.
Reverting back to edit mode
If the product has not gone live yet, and the museum would like to make updates too the DAB layout or pricing, then the product will need to be reverted back to edit mode, and the changes made in the Museum Application. To revert back to edit mode, remove the "PENDING" text under product type, and make sure that the status is set to "Draft"
Important! Even though you can update the pricing for a product directly in Shopify, do NOT do it there. Pricing should be made through the Museum application in order to make sure data is properly synced between all of the DABs
