๐ŸŽจAdding an Artist

Artists must be added manually by a Comission Administrator through Shopify before they will be available to Museums in the Museum App.

  1. Log into the Shopify store admin page.

  2. Navigate to "Products", then "Collections". Click "Create Collection"

  3. Enter in the following Information

    1. Title: The name of the artist

    2. Description: The full description of the artist that will display on the artist details page.

    3. Collection Type: Manual

    4. Search Engine Listing: Okay to leave blank

    5. Metafields - Collection Type: set to "Artist"

    6. Metafields - Excerpt: A short description for the artist. This will display on the artist partners page.

    7. Metafields - museumAttributes, Logo Image and Location: Leave Blank

  4. Publishing: Check all options.

  5. Image: Upload an image of the artist

  6. Online Store - Theme template: Leave blank
